“The blog” is the collection of all the posts that are listed in the posts area of the WordPress dashboard (left-hand sidebar) at https://wordpress.com/home/oldcem.bc.ca or https://oldcemhome.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Categories
Do not add information directly to the Current Projects or Project & Updates pages.
A posts category determines where the post will appear.
Posts with the category “Current Projects” will only appear on the Current Projects page.
Posts with the category “Stone Cuttings Newsletter” will not appear on the Current Projects or Projects & Updates pages.
Categories may be added as needed. Each category can have subcategories. When a category is excluded from a page, all of its subcategories are also excluded.
Tags
When a few posts are related, you may add a tag so that they can easily be viewed as a group. See “Edna Farnsworth Restoration Project” as an example. Note that a TAG is not the same as a CATEGORY.
